HISTORY
After years in the insurance business, Tom Besselman opened his own agency in 1986. His expertise and problem-solving personality eventually steered him to the group side of the industry where he has grown his business to over 20 employees strong. In 2006, the agency merged with 30-years-plus industry veterans, Jay Little and Associates. Today, Besselman & Little Agency clients enjoy our incredible commitment to service along with expanded resources in the areas of experience, expertise and employees. Our growth has also allowed us to form special relationships with our insurance carriers based on the volume of business we represent. In the end, this volume benefits our customers through more competitive rates and quicker response time.
WHO WE ARE
The Besselman & Little Agency specializes in the design, installation and administration of employee benefit plans including medical insurance, life insurance, short-and long-term disability income, retirement plans, Section 125 cafeteria plans and pension plans. Our clients range from individuals and small proprietors to large corporations and municipalities that insure thousands of employees.
Service and client satisfaction are key components of our agency. That’s why we strive to offer a variety of plan designs that specifically fit your needs. We are also committed to fielding all calls with an actual Besselman & Little representative who will resolve your issues quickly, so you never have to wait on your insurance carrier. As an added service to our clients, we also have relationships with CPAs, human resource specialists and financial advisors with whom we partner to meet additional business needs.
SERVICE & EDUCATION
We believe smart, industry savvy employees are the key to outstanding service delivery. That’s why we go beyond the norm to continuously educate our staff —keeping everyone informed of the trends and changes constantly reshaping our industry. We assemble our team for weekly meetings to discuss new information and unique service issues, and encourage employees to share any resources gathered from trade publications, news and the Internet. In addition, each staff member is required to attend at least one personal development seminar a year to help enhance his or her skill set and provide even better customer service.
